Role Summary:
As Company Business Development Manager, you will work to identify and procure potential or new business clientele. The emphasis is on developing these new accounts through networking and negotiating. You will promote the various services of the business, including new products and services, cost reductions, and technological advancements. Whether through cold calling or visiting client locations you will try various means to acquire new business.
The Company Business Development Manager must be conversant about the development, design, purpose, and specifications of all business products and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and preparing presentations.

  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.

  • Communicating new product developments to prospective clients.

  • Working alongside the Marketing Department in the development of marketing literature.

  • Providing management with market feedback.

  • To identify target audiences.

  • Daily monitoring of Tender Alert Sites and the identification of potential new business.

  • Responsible for following up new business and setting up meetings.

  • Completion of PQQ’s – Pre Qualification Questionnaires, by collating data from relevant departments across the company, to ensure consistency in the company Brand Identity.

  • Development of PQQ database, monitoring and reporting business success.

  • Development of company bid presentations alongside the Marketing Department.

  • Form part of a company wide bidding team – coordinating PQQ’s from receipt through to award of contract.

  • Business to Business and Business to Customer leads.

  • Researching new opportunities for business diversity.

Role Summary:
To be responsible for developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet agreed company objectives, the business plan and the core values. To explore ways of improving existing products and services, and increasing profitability
To evaluate customer research, market conditions, competitor data and implement marketing plan alterations as needed. To monitor internal KPi’s and to Benchmark against competitors products and services and to analyse market trends.
To oversee all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities. To promote and develop the Company CSR Agenda. To maintain the existing company accreditations and to successfully obtain others.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the marketing of company products and services to the right market whether Business to Business, or Business to Client.

  • Project work in-line with marketing objectives and departmental budget to assist the Director of Marketing with strategic marketing plans.

  • To manage the production of and assistance with Corporate Communications ensuring the standardised 'brand' identity.

  • Production of ad hoc artwork, including the management of all materials and images.

  • To manage all aspects of print production, receipt and distribution.

  • To achieve frequent, timely and positive media coverage across all available media.

  • To manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.

  • To identify target markets and developing strategies to communicate with them.

  • To conduct market research in order to identify market requirements for current and future projects.

  • To work alongside all departments across the organisation to actively drive existing and new projects and initiatives.

  • To manage the website, ensuring continuous improvement and updates are carried out in line with business objectives on time and within budget.

  • Manage updating of website and intranet content using administration systems.

  • Management of on-line advertising including updating and managing content, to include the distribution of enquiries.

  • Monitor and evaluation of search engine optimisation reports.

  • To produce management reports as required.

  • Development and maintenance of Business Accreditations le: ISO, IiP etc.

  • Corporate & staff functions – Events Programmes and Sponsorships.

  • Promotion and development of Company Corporate Social Responsibility Agenda.
