In November 2024, we successfully completed a transformative project at Waitrose Canary Wharf, valued at £300,000 and executed over a concise 4-week period. The project focused on modernising and enhancing multiple key areas within the store to improve efficiency, functionality, and customer experience. This collaboration with Waitrose & Partners demonstrated Princebuild’s ability to deliver high-quality results within strict time constraints.
Scope of Work
Full Strip-Out and Wine Store Installation
The existing oyster bar was fully stripped out to make way for a brand-new wine store.
Installation of secure racks and racking as required.
Addition of new double doors and a maglock for enhanced security.
Refresh of Existing Wine Store
Upgraded with new tables and chairs sourced from Haywards Heath.
Installation of new vinyls along the cellar wall to refresh the aesthetic.
Self-Checkout and Mainline Areas
Reconfiguration of the mainline areas to create space for a more efficient self-checkout section.
Improved placement of the tobacco kiosk to enhance accessibility.
Streamlined navigation for customers, resulting in a better overall shopping experience.
Online Delivered Goods (ODG) Area Construction
Development of a dedicated ODG area, including racking and a transfer cage, to optimise transaction efficiency.
Decorations and Finishing Touches
Comprehensive updates to shop floors, walls, and ceilings with fresh decorations.
Summary
