Princebuild has proudly presented a cheque for £11,750 to Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice, following a fantastic year of fundraising efforts from colleagues, families and supporters across the business.

The donation was presented by Princebuild CEO Matthew Pudney to Asif from Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall, with funds raised through two key fundraising activities: the Princebuild team’s participation in the Lincoln 10K earlier this year and a charity raffle held during the company’s annual Family Fun Day at Sacrewell Farm.

The Lincoln 10K saw members of the Princebuild team come together to take on the challenge, raising vital funds while representing the company’s commitment to supporting the communities in which it works. This was followed by the Family Fun Day raffle, where employees and their families helped raise additional funds through generous prize donations and participation.

Matthew Pudney, CEO at Princebuild, said:
We are incredibly proud to be able to support Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall with this donation. Our fundraising events are always a great opportunity for our Princebuild family to come together, have fun and make a real difference to charities that provide such important services within our local community. A huge thank you goes to everyone who took part, donated prizes and supported these events.

Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall provides expert and compassionate palliative and end-of-life care to people living with life-limiting conditions, as well as supporting their families and loved ones. Based in Peterborough, the hospice offers a range of services including inpatient care, day services, wellbeing support and specialist advice, helping local people receive the care and support they need when they need it most.

As a charity, Sue Ryder relies heavily on donations and fundraising support to continue delivering its vital services. The funds raised by Princebuild will help the hospice continue providing outstanding care for people and families across the local community.
