Just before Christmas, we were delighted to welcome representatives from Helping Our Ukrainian Friends (HOUF) and The NSPCC into our Peterborough head office for a festive get-together.

Over cups of tea and mince pies, the visit provided a great opportunity to reflect on the success of this year’s Blingo event and to officially present the cheques raised through the fundraiser. Blingo made its first return since 2022, making the occasion even more special.

Thanks to the incredible support and generosity of everyone involved, we were proud to donate £16,250 to each charity.

Helping Our Ukrainian Friends (HOUF) is a local charity providing vital humanitarian aid to those affected by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. The charity supports the delivery of essential supplies, medical aid and practical assistance to families who have been displaced, helping those most in need both overseas and within local communities.

The NSPCC is the UK’s leading children’s charity, working to prevent abuse, protect children and support families. Through services such as Childline, awareness campaigns and specialist support, the NSPCC helps ensure children across the UK have a safer and happier childhood.

We are incredibly proud to support both HOUF and the NSPCC and would like to thank everyone who took part in Blingo and helped make the fundraiser such a success. It was a pleasure to welcome both charities into our head office and end the year by celebrating the positive impact we can achieve together through fundraising and community support.
