Princebuild was proud to once again sponsor the Ladies Lunch held earlier last month in aid of the Peterborough Breast Unit. The event, organised by Carol Collier and hosted at the Holiday Inn Peterborough, welcomed a full room of supporters and featured special celebrity guest Craig Revel Horwood.
This year’s lunch raised an outstanding £14,700 for the Breast Unit, adding to the impressive totals raised in previous years. The event even saw Princebuild’s CEO, Matthew Pudney, volunteer his time on the day to help sell raffle tickets to guests, contributing directly to the fundraising efforts.
Since 2015, Carol Collier, herself treated by the unit, has dedicated considerable time and energy to organising the lunch in support of the cause. This year marked Carol’s final event as she steps down after 10 years of arranging the fundraiser. Her commitment has helped bring together women from across the region to support one another and contribute to the vital work of the Breast Cancer Unit at Peterborough City Hospital.
Princebuild is honoured to have supported this special occasion once again and congratulates Carol and everyone involved in achieving such a remarkable result. The funds raised will make a meaningful difference to patients and families supported by the unit.
