Last week, Princebuild was delighted to welcome volunteers from Helping Our Ukrainian Friends (HOUF) to our Head Office, where Director Mark Asplin and Group Brand & Marketing Manager Carly Dadge proudly presented the charity with a cheque for £23,750.

The fantastic total was raised through the incredible efforts of our employees, friends, family and supporters who took part in the Lincoln 10K earlier this year, alongside the generosity shown at our fundraising dinner held at Katana.

The donation will help HOUF continue its vital work supporting those affected by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Previous donations from Princebuild’s fundraising have enabled the charity to purchase much-needed humanitarian aid, including generators to provide power during outages, medical supplies, food, clothing, hygiene products, sleeping bags and other essential equipment. These supplies have been delivered directly to communities and frontline areas where they are needed most.

During their visit, the HOUF volunteers also collected a large number of donations that had been kindly contributed by Princebuild employees and several other companies. The donations included clothing, toys, power banks, toiletries, food and other everyday essentials, all of which will be sent to support Ukrainian families.

Mark Asplin, Director at Princebuild, said:
It was a pleasure to welcome the HOUF team back to Princebuild and present them with this cheque. The amount raised is a testament to the generosity and commitment of everyone who supported our fundraising efforts. We know every penny will make a real difference to those who continue to face unimaginable challenges.

Princebuild would like to thank everyone who contributed to the fundraising campaign and donated supplies. Your continued support is helping HOUF provide practical assistance and hope to those who need it most.
