Princebuild is delighted to have raised £12,500 for The House Project Peterborough following our fundraising dinner held earlier this year at Katana in Peterborough.
The evening brought together colleagues, clients, suppliers and supporters for a fantastic night of fundraising and community spirit, helping to raise vital funds to support the important work carried out by The House Project.
We welcomed some of the young adults supported by The House Project to our head office for a special cheque presentation with CEO Matthew Pudney and HR Support Manager Cheryl Brown.
It was a pleasure to spend time with them, hear about their experiences and catch up on how well they are all doing. Seeing first-hand the positive impact the project has had on their lives made the fundraising effort even more meaningful.
The funds raised will provide valuable support to The House Project Peterborough, helping the charity continue its work with young people who have experience of the care system. The House Project creates a safe and supportive community where young people can build confidence, develop independence, form lasting friendships and prepare for the future.
Through group activities, mentoring, practical skills sessions and peer support, The House Project helps young adults feel connected, valued and empowered as they transition into independent living.
