Princebuild continues its support for young people taking their first steps into independent living by delivering another round of tool kits and essential cleaning packs to the latest cohort at the Peterborough House Project.
Group Brand & Marketing Manager Carly Dadge and HR Support Manager Cheryl Browne recently visited Chauffers Cottage, home of the Peterborough House Project, to personally hand over the practical starter packs to the next group of young adults preparing to move into their own homes.
The Peterborough House Project supports care-experienced young people as they transition into independent adulthood, helping them develop the practical life skills, confidence and resilience needed to successfully manage their own homes. Based at Chauffers Cottage in the heart of the city, the project offers tailored support covering everything from budgeting and cooking to property maintenance and personal wellbeing.
Recognising the challenges many young people face when setting up home for the first time, Princebuild has continued its partnership with the project by donating practical everyday essentials that can often be overlooked but are vital for independent living.
Each pack contains a range of cleaning products and basic tools, designed to help the young people feel equipped and confident as they settle into their new surroundings. For many, these simple but essential items can make a significant difference during what can be both an exciting and daunting life milestone.
Carly Dadge, Group Brand & Marketing Manager at Princebuild, said, ‘We’re proud to continue supporting The House Project and the incredible work they do for young people across Peterborough. Moving into your first home is a huge step, and if we can help ease that transition by providing practical essentials, then it is something we are very pleased to do.’
The team at The House Project welcomed the latest donation, highlighting the real impact these contributions have on helping young people establish safe, comfortable homes while building their independence.
Princebuild remains committed to supporting initiatives that make a meaningful difference within the communities it serves and looks forward to continuing its relationship with the Peterborough House Project in the future.
