Jim Walker celebrated both his 70th Birthday and his Retirement at Princebuild Limited today, after joining the company as an Administration Assistant in 2006.
Jim’s initial plans when joining the company were to retire on his 65th Birthday, however time has flown by so quickly for Jim that he extended his employment by a further five years as he still enjoyed putting in a good days work!
Staff from across the company and particularly at the Gosberton office where Jim works all clubbed together and presented Jim with a new Satellite Navigation system and his favourite bottle of malt whiskey, as well as a beautiful bouquet of flowers for Jim’s wife Denise.
Director of Princebuild Matthew Pudney said “It’s a day of celebration and a day of sadness for us at Princebuild Gosberton today”, Jim’s a great guy and has played a vital role in the success of our branch, Jim will be sadly missed by all of the team”.
However, even though Jim has decided to formally go into retirement today his employment at Princebuild may not be over yet as he has already voiced an interest in continuing to provide his services on a more flexible arrangement!
All of the Directors and Staff of Princebuild wish both Jim and his wife Denise a very long and happy retirement together.
