Throughout the Lock-Down Princebuild have continued to operate a reduced level of service to ensure essential service providers such as the NHS, Cambridgeshire Constabulary and HM Prison Service are able to continue their vital operations in our communities.

The guidance received during this period from the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, Alok Sharma is that the construction industry should, where possible, continue to operate. With this guidance in mind we have carried out a significant review of our business operations and are pleased to announce the introduction of a phased return to work for the remainder of our business. To facilitate this we will be adopting vigorous new procedures to provide protection to our employees, customers and members of the public and to mitigate the spread of Covid-19.

Our new safe working procedures have been implemented in accordance with guidelines issued by Public Health England and include but are not limited to:

Implementing social distancing measures on site and within our offices

Introducing enhanced safe systems of work, PPE measures and sanitisation facilities

Reviewing procedures for working within occupied properties

Inducting our entire workforce, contractors and visitors to site on the new measures introduced due to Covid-19

We will continue to constantly monitor, review and amend our procedures in accordance with advice received and remain committed to providing a safe working environment for our employees, customers and members of the public.

We wish all of our employees and valued customers the very best at this difficult time and we remain extremely grateful for all of the work carried out by all essential service providers during the pandemic, including all team members within our business who have shown exemplary levels of commitment and professionalism.
