Changes with the outsourcing of maintenance within Housing & Care 21 has led to Princebuild developing a bespoke handyman service to provide regular repairs and maintenance to more than 30 courts across the East of England and the Midlands.

The service, which has been developed through experience with other Housing Associations, will provide a comprehensive yet cost effective solution for regular repair and maintenance tasks, giving peace of mind for court managers and their residents. Making the service an ‘On-demand’ solution instead of a being a fixed appointment has meant even greater flexibility for the court managers and allows them to achieve best value for their maintenance needs.

Housing & Care 21 is a leading national provider of retirement housing and care services for people aged 65 and above, they operate in over 150 local authority areas and manage around 19,000 Retirement and Extra Care apartments across the country.

Princebuild have been working with HC21 for over a decade, providing regular and on call maintenance to many of their courts. It is due to this ongoing relationship that a new system has been put in place to assist the court managers in managing their day to day maintenance requirements.

Princebuild supply Housing & Care 21 with a ‘One stop shop’ solution, delivering a range of services including general maintenance repairs and the servicing of heating, electrical, plumbing and air conditioning systems.
