Princebuild welcomes four new apprentices to the team

This week has been National Apprenticeship Week (9th-13th March), and we want to share our support for the scheme as we continue to actively recruit apprentices from across the region.

Recently we have welcomed four new apprentices to the company, all of whom are studying their apprenticeships at Boston College, who Princebuild have a decade long partnership with, and they are already getting to grips with the challenges of the working environment.

The latest students gaining apprenticeships with Princebuild are Ben Maltby and Tiago Lima, who are Electrical Apprentices, and Jamie Holmes and George Jones who have taken on roles within the Plumbing team.

Jamie Holmes, who aims to become a multi-skilled engineer said: “Choosing an apprenticeship with Princebuild has allowed me to get plenty of hands on practical experience whilst completing my qualification, and the opportunity offered by the company has been the perfect start to my career in the industry.”

Barbara Mehew, HR Manager for Princebuild comments: “Due to the success of Boston College apprentices and their employment with Princebuild beyond their apprenticeship, they have gained a great reputation within the company. We therefore believe that recruiting through the Apprenticeship scheme truly benefits us.”

Princebuild is proud of its track record in successfully recruiting and retaining many apprentices and to mark the National Apprenticeship week we have been proudly displaying information about the opportunities available within the construction industry at Boston College and Pescod Hall, Boston throughout the week.
