In partnership with the South Lincs Training Association (SLGTA) we have been very busy over the last month promoting careers in the construction industry.

On 15th June we attended the Sleaford Recruitment and Careers Fair held at the North Kesteven District Council Chambers. The event was organised jointly by Job Centre Plus and the Council. The event offered job seekers the chance to meet potential employers and find out about training, volunteering and funding opportunities in the area.

On 23rd June we exhibited at the Skills Service annual Careers Show at the East of England Arena. The event, now in its fifth year attracted over 6,000 visitors and featured 230 exhibitors, it aims to showcase the vast array of careers on offer in the area and is targeted to 14-24 year olds. All visitors to the show are encouraged to ‘have a go’ so as well as providing information, advice and guidance about the careers available in the industry, visitors were also able to get directly involved on our stand and try some pipe bending. See a video from the event here.

On 27th June we were pleased to be invited to attend Arthur Mellows Village College Future Festivals Event. We delivered six workshops to promote apprenticeships and being work ready.

Princebuild are committed to promoting careers within the construction industry and work closely with the SLGTA, Construction Industry Training Board and Go Construct to not only support our own staff but also to promote the construction industry as a career for life.
