Ukraine Crisis Donations

As we have seen events unfold over recent weeks in the Ukraine both the directors and employees wanted to do something to help.

Donation points were set up at our offices and many essential items such as sanitary products, nappies and dog food have been collected and delivered by Director Matthew Pudney to the St Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church in Woodston, Peterborough. Matthew was greeted by several Ukrainian volunteers who were all working very hard to sort through the donations of essential items that they are receiving. The goods were being sorted as soon as they arrived and they will be making their way across Europe very shortly to the people who are in such desperate need of them.

We received a yellow and blue ribbon from one of the volunteers as a sign of their gratitude for everything that Princebuild donated.

In addition to the amazing amount of goods collected, many staff wanted to make a financial contribution which Princebuild match funded to double the amount. Staff donations totalled £1,335 and we have subsequently made a donation of £3,000 to the Disasters Emergency Committee. This brings together 15 leading UK aid charities who respond to overseas disasters where the funds donated have an immediate impact and get to the people who need it fast.

We would like to say a big Thank you to all of our staff who supported this fundraising cause. Together we will have made a difference for some of the people who are suffering so unnecessarily.
