Investment in employees pays off for Princebuild

Five employees of Princebuild Limited have successfully graduated from regional colleges and universities thanks to our full support and commitment to investing in our people.

Matthew Clarke based at the Bedford branch completed his HND in Construction Management and George Asplin from the Northampton branch successfully graduated from his Foundation Degree in Sciences Construction Management.

Meanwhile, Danny Sobkowiak from the Peterborough branch successfully undertook a Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services as part of his three-year apprenticeship programme with Princebuild.

Danny, who completed his course at Boston College, said: “The course has given me the theory to the practical side of the job I do. I have gained additional knowledge and experience, which has helped me to gain a permanent contract with the company.

“Princebuild really looks after its staff and has done a lot to help me personally.”

Adam Izzet passed with Honours at Northampton University for his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management.
He said: “The qualification will definitely help with my role and future career. I think the company does a lot to help its employees and in particular to help those who can’t afford to fund these courses alone.”

Trish Wilks from the Spalding branch completed a Chartered Institute of Building Diploma in Site Management Level 4.

She said: “I have worked for Princebuild for nearly 10 years first starting out as a part time administrator on a gas contract. With the company’s support I have progressed to Building Technician and this latest qualification has given me further knowledge and confidence to progress my career with the company.

“I feel really lucky to work for an organisation that supports staff of all ages and aspirations.”
