Local charities benefit from Christmas celebrations

The annual Princebuild Christmas Dinner Dance was held on Friday 6th December and as well as providing guests with a night of festive entertainment there was also a fundraising element to the evening.

An amazing £3,000 was raised via a raffle and two games of stand-up, sit-down bingo which will be split between Macmillan Cancer Support and the Peterborough Breast Cancer Care Ward.

The lucky winners took home some fantastic prizes, including a champagne dinner for two at the Ritz, a 55 inch smart TV and cash prizes of £400 in the bingo games!

The 240 staff and guests had a thoroughly enjoyable evening at the Holiday Inn West, the night was hosted by Kev Lawrence of BBC Cambridgeshire and featured singing from Peter Jay as well as Casino tables and a disco. There was also a special appearance from Posh legend Barry Fry, who helped out by calling the Bingo and also donated a fantastic Posh raffle prize.

Princebuild would like to thank everyone who gave so generously to help support our charities. Special thanks also goes to those who donated raffle prizes; Smiths of Peterborough, Woodhouse and Sturnham, CC Contracting, John Day Decorators, Beecal Electrical and The Sign Room.
