As a long standing supplier to Morrisons, Princebuild were pleased to undertake a refridge renovation and refresh to bring the Morrisons Diss store up to the latest specification.
Works completed included the transformation of the former fishmongers area into a bright and spacious food to go area, whilst relocating the fishmongers to merge with the butchery area. These works included flooring, ceiling and demolition works.
All prep areas received fresh new tiling, flooring and refurbishment to the ceilings. Bulkheads where decorated and repositioned to enable the installation of a new chiller and the expansion of the prep areas.
The Café received a modern upgrade from the installation of timber cladding and general decoration works to provide a modern aesthetic. Within the area a new colourful community space was also created, to allow community meetings and events to be held, whilst providing comforts such as soft seating and areas to make drinks and snacks.
The staff area also received an update, with the installation of bright LED lighting and freshly painted walls. Works included the creation of a training room to provide a specific place for inductions and training, not just for this store but also for the surrounding areas.
Externally, striking new Morrison signage was installed to match their latest specification and to greet customers into the store. The gardens received landscaping throughout and general reinvigoration creating an inviting local muster point for the community.
Princebuild provided management throughout for the upgrades of the chillers, freezers and fridges which have had new environmentally friendly and efficient refrigeration plant installed as well as having a facelift internally to provide a much more modern and inviting aesthetic for the customer journey around the store.
