In the run up to Christmas staff from across all branches of Princebuild very kindly donated a large amount of food, clothing, toiletries and many other items which were donated to homeless projects local to our branches to help make Christmas a little more bearable.

The collection from the Northampton branch was donated to the Hope Centre http://www.northamptonhopecentre.org.uk/ who work to relieve poverty and tackle the causes of homelessness in the Northampton area.

Tanya Haji-Miller, Community Fundraiser for the centre was very grateful for the donation and met with Norma McCaffrey from the Northampton branch to receive the goods. The collection will help the centre to provide hot food, drinks, showers, clothing and workshops for local people who are most in need throughout the winter months.

The Peterborough collection was delivered in person on Christmas Eve by Barbara Mehew, Company HR Manager for Princebuild. This was organised by Love & Humanity Peterborough https://www.facebook.com/lovehumanitypeterborough/ and saw around 50 volunteers out on the streets of Peterborough providing food, clothing, toiletries and some festive cheer to those less fortunate in the city.

Princebuild are very grateful to all the staff who got involved in the project and donated items to the collections, the support was fantastic and made a real difference to our local communities.
