Morrisons Award Princebuild for Excellent Performance

Employees of Princebuild received special awards from Morrisons Supermarkets for their excellent performance in providing Fresh Format and Critical Refrigeration works during 2013.

Princebuild carried out eighteen of ninety eight Fresh Format projects completed by Morrisons during the year, with the projects ranging in value up to 300k and taking 3.5 weeks to complete. In addition, four of the projects included Critical Refrigeration works which increased the value of the works to between 1.2 and 1.5million each and extended their duration to 14 weeks.

Following the completion of the works for the year, Morrisons invited all of their main contractors and specialist suppliers to attend a debrief meeting, where the successes and lessons learned for the year were discussed. More than 90 attendees were present at the meeting during which five awards were presented, with staff from Princebuild scooping two of the awards for their excellent performance!

Trevor Riley and Laurence Abbas were awarded ‘Safest Site’ for works carried out at Morrisons

Coventry, and Carl Newbigging and Conor McDonough were given a special award for ‘The Company that went beyond the Call of Duty’, for overcoming some challenging issues at Morrisons, Melton Mowbray.

It was very humbling to know that Morrisons value the contribution and effort our staff make when delivering their projects.”
