Princebuild Raise over £2,000.00 for Charity at Christmas Celebration

Princebuild celebrated Christmas in style this year with a formal dinner dance party held at the Peterborough Arena for more than 200 staff and guests.

Following a drinks reception and a three course festive meal, entertainment was provided by Director Matthew Pudney and his team, which as well as including some fun games and Karaoke, also included two opportunities to raise money for charity whilst enjoying the festivities.

Two games of stand up, sit down bingo were played raising £850.00, with two great prizes of £410.00 being awarded. A raffle was held later in the evening raising a further £1,200.00 with some great prizes on offer including a Dell tablet device, a Kindle Fire and a smart phone.

The money raised is to be split between two charities; Macmillan Cancer Support and Little People UK, whose patron is none other than the famous actor Warwick Davis. Warwick made several surprise appearances on the night with some pre-recorded video clips being shown on a big screen providing the guests with great entertainment.

Warwick’s wife Sam Davis, who also supports the charity commented “we would like to thank Princebuild so much for their support. The money raised will make a really positive difference to families with dwarfism.”

The Directors of Princebuild would like to thank all those who attended for supporting the evening and special thanks goes to Kamarin Computers, Link Connect and EE for kindly donating the main raffle prizes.
