In March, two of our Directors Mark and Dale will be taking two Princebuild vans to the Polish/Ukrainian border along with Peterborough group Helping Our Ukrainian Friends. They want to fill at least one of the vans with Easter boxes to give out to children both in the Ukraine and those living in Poland as refugees.
It’s really simple to create an Easter box gift:
1. Take a shoe box
2. Fill it with small items such as sweets, toys or essentials
3. Label it clearly Boy or Girl and age 4-7 or 7-11
4. Drop it in to one of our offices or drop off points by 10th March
What Can be a gift?
Hygienic items: toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, etc.
Items for school: crayons, pens, pencils, erasers, colouring books, play dough, etc.
Toys: small soft toys, small Lego sets, puzzles, hair ornaments, teaching puzzles, etc. Small board games like Uno, Dobble, etc.
Clothing: hats, scarves, T-shirts, socks, gloves, etc.
Sweets: candies, chocolates, cookies, bars, etc. (in factory-sealed packages with the expiry date not earlier than 01.06.23)
