Safety, Health, Environment & Quality
We make health and safety everyone’s business.
The health and safety of our people, our clients and the general public is of paramount importance to us.
Just as importantly, we also respect and care for the environment in which we work.
Welcome to our Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) Department. We are dedicated to building a strong, proactive safety culture supported by high-quality internal training and continuous professional development.
Our training programme covers a comprehensive range of recognised industry courses, including the SMSTS (Site Managers Safety Training Scheme), SSSTS (Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme), and specialist training in environmental management and site safety. These programmes ensure our teams have the knowledge, confidence, and capability to work safely, responsibly, and in line with best practice.
We are proud that our workforce holds a wide variety of professional health, safety, and environmental qualifications, including NEBOSH, IOSH, ISEP, and Carbon Literacy Project Management certifications. Members of our leadership team are also active within IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) and ISEP (Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals), helping embed environmental awareness, sustainability, and responsible decision‑making at every stage of our work.
Our commitment to safety is shared across the entire business. More than 90% of our employees hold Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) cards, demonstrating their competency in site safety, compliance, and safe systems of work.
This collective investment in training, accreditation, and professional growth underpins our commitment to maintaining a safe, skilled, and environmentally responsible workforce delivering excellence on every project.
