Overview:
Princebuild was appointed by The Brent Cross Partnership to deliver landlord works for the new food hall at Brent Cross Shopping Centre. Focused on transforming the space into a vibrant dining destination. With an extensive scope covering infrastructure upgrades, structural modifications, and high-end finishes.
Scope of Work:
- Complete Design & Installation of Services: Full integration of electrical, mechanical, public health, fire alarm, PAVA, sprinkler, BMS, CCTV, and door access control systems.
- Utility Coordination: Collaboration with UKPN to install new power supplies for kiosk and landlord areas.
- Structural Enhancements: Asbestos encapsulation to the existing mall-facing bulkhead and soffit stabilisation to block/beam soffit, followed by full decoration of exposed services.
- Space Reconfiguration: Formation of new doorway openings to accommodate the food hall layout and installation of new fire doors throughout.
- Retail & Back-of-House Areas: Construction of new retail kiosk units, landlord corridors, and BOH areas to support operational needs.
- Aesthetic & Functional Finishes: Installation of bespoke timber shopfronts, fixed furniture, decorative lighting, and acoustic rafts in the central seating area.
- Flooring & Wall Finishes: Tiled floor finishes in the shared seating area, wall tiling to half-height kiosk columns, and installation of bespoke planters.
- Signage & Shopfront Enhancements: New shopfront lettering, individual kiosk signage, and supporting steelwork installations.
