Masters Court which was built in 1986, is a small office complex located in the village of Thame, Oxfordshire. It has five office suites in total arranged over three floors which cover an area of over 10,000sq ft.
Princebuild were tasked with completing a full refurbishment of the property to enable it to be successfully let to new tenants.
Initial works included the demolition of existing partitions to create modern and light open plan office spaces. Radiators and floor boxes were removed and the concrete made good to further enhance the open plan feel and to allow for the fitting of more modern network cabling and a new air conditioning system.
Due to the age and design of the building some walls and floors were suffering from movement and were uneven. This required some remedial works including the replacement of the floor in one of the large office areas to achieve a level finish.
Another issue which had to be overcome was the restricted ceiling heights, this made the installation of necessary services such as air conditioning, electrical cabling and other pipework very tricky as we tried to preserve ever possible centimeter of ceiling space to maintain the light and airy feel the client desired.
