Overview

Princebuild was tasked with the installation of a new illuminated windsock pole, providing enhanced visibility and functionality for the site. The project involved excavation, structural work, and electrical installation to ensure a durable and effective solution.

Scope of Work

The key elements of this project included:

Excavation & Foundation: A 1 cubic meter section of soil was dug out and filled with concrete to create a solid foundation.

Pole Installation: A 5-meter pole was erected to support the windsock and lighting system.

Lighting System:

A red observation light was installed at the top for visibility.

A bright LED light was fitted inside the windsock for illumination.

Both lights are controlled via a photocell mounted on a nearby building, ensuring they activate automatically at dusk.

Maintenance Considerations: A ratchet winch system was integrated, allowing for easy raising and lowering of the pole during servicing.
