Overview:
Kings Thorpe Village Primary School sought a full upgrade to its lighting and heating systems, along with compliance improvements and better energy efficiency.
Scope of Work:
Full LED lighting upgrade throughout the school.
Installation of a 600×600 ceiling grid in classrooms and the main hall.
Replacement of saddles to ensure compliance with current standards.
Boiler system upgrade, replacing the old system with Ideal Concord and Ideal Evo Max models.
Full system upgrade, including a non-functional BMS overhaul.
Installation of a Cascade 108 kW system with loft headers to improve heating efficiency.
Summary:
The upgrade transformed the school’s energy consumption and created more space. With a new boiler system and updated BMS, the school now benefits from more efficient and reliable heating, while LED lighting further reduces energy usage.
