BMAT Trust, dedicated to quality education, partnered with us to address energy-efficient lighting solutions for several schools. Their goals were to cut energy consumption, bolster sustainability, and achieve cost savings. This comprehensive LED project encompassed lighting system upgrades, energy-efficient lamp replacements, compliance measures, and a sports hall lighting design. BMAT Trust’s primary objective was to modernise the lighting infrastructure across the three schools, aiming to reduce energy consumption and operating costs while enhancing the learning and sports environment for students. The project was efficiently executed over a 6-week period during the summer holidays, ensuring minimal disruption to the schools.
LED Upgrades: We conducted a thorough assessment of the existing lighting systems and replaced traditional lighting fixtures with energy-efficient LED lighting solutions. This upgrade was expected to significantly reduce energy consumption and maintenance costs.
Lamp Upgrades: The project involved the replacement of outdated fluorescent tubes throughout the schools with LED tubes, resulting in improved illumination and energy savings.
Control Wiring: The control system has been recommissioned to allow for more precise and efficient lighting control, enabling the schools to tailor lighting levels to specific needs and further optimise energy usage.
Compliance Upgrades: We ensured that all lighting installations met the necessary compliance standards, including health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and comfortable learning environment for students and staff.
Sports Hall Lighting Design: Our experts designed a lighting system for the schools’ sports halls. This design aimed to provide optimal visibility, enhance the sporting experience for students, and optimise energy consumption.
