Northumberland House is situated on the south side of High Holborn and lies immediately to the north of the Lincoln’s Inn. With excellent public transport links the offices provide good access to all parts of the capital.
Princebuild undertook the refurbishment of floors five and eight of the building, floor five was completed to a category A fit out standard and floor eight to A plus.
The work on the fifth floor required the completed strip out of all existing finishes including walls, ceilings and the electrical and mechanical equipment. A new kitchen space was installed and to improve efficiency new black, slimline secondary glazing was also fitted.
All mechanical and electrical design and installation was undertaken as well as the fitting of a new fire alarm.
The floor then received a full redecoration, including the addition of feature walls and the installation of new vinyl planks throughout.
The eighth floor involved the strip out of existing secondary glazing, the floor finishes and existing kitchen.
The same black slimline secondary glazing was then installed along with a new modern kitchen.
Some mechanical alterations were required to the existing air conditioning system to enable the system to be controlled in the separate office areas.
The project was completed with a full redecoration, again including feature walls and the installation of vinyl planks.
The project enabled the client to advertise the office to let as attractive, well lit and versatile office spaces.
