Earlier this month, we were delighted to attend the first Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Employer Network (EN) event, established by CITB, at Stamford College. Representing Princebuild, Emily Ferrer joined a steering group of CITB-registered construction employers to discuss key industry challenges and opportunities.
The Employer Network aims to provide valuable support to businesses in critical areas such as Leadership & Management, Net Zero, Retrofit, and Digital Skills. The session included an update on the network’s progress, highlighting interaction levels, key achievements, and areas for improvement. Attendees also explored the availability of CITB funding, identified priority skills gaps, and discussed which courses should receive 100% CITB funding.
Emily’s participation in this event underscores our commitment to workforce development and industry innovation. Engaging with initiatives like the Employer Network ensures that we stay at the forefront of training, funding opportunities, and skills development, ultimately benefiting both our employees and the wider construction sector.
