Associate Directors Tom and Ed Duerden attended Annual Charity Golf Day last week, Tom and Ed joined 70 other golfers at the Annual Charity Golf Day, an event arranged by Kev Lawrence from PCRFM and Roger Day from Archway Events aimed at raising funds for two important charities; Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice & Prostate Cancer UK. The event kicked off with an open registration at the Woodman Pub, Thorpe Wood, where attendees gathered and prepared for a day of competitive play and camaraderie.

Golfers assembled for a group meeting, followed by a shotgun start. Players competed in teams and aimed for the best two scores, playing off yellow tees with a maximum handicap of 24. Live scoring added to the excitement, as participants tracked their progress throughout the course.

Tom and Ed’s team performed well. The event was not just about competition but also about community and charity, as participants were motivated by the cause they were supporting.

Thanks to the efforts of Kev from PCRFM and Roger Day from Archway Events, the event raised over £2,000, which will be split between the two benefiting charities. Tom and Ed, along with all the participants, enjoyed a fantastic day of golf while contributing to a noble cause.
