At Princebuild, we believe that mental health is just as important as physical safety, especially in the construction industry, where long hours, tough conditions, and high-pressure environments can take their toll.

That’s why we’ve partnered with The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity, an organisation dedicated to the emotional, physical, and financial wellbeing of construction workers and their families.

Together, we’re promoting mental health awareness across our sites, providing access to vital resources, and encouraging open conversations. From posters and helpline cards to toolbox talks and staff briefings, we’re making sure everyone knows that help is available and it’s okay to speak up.

Our site teams are supported with information about the Lighthouse Charity’s 24/7 helpline, mental health app, and wellbeing masterclasses, helping to create a more supportive, understanding environment for all.

As part of our ongoing commitment, we also have trained Mental Health First Aiders within our teams. These dedicated individuals are on hand to offer support, spot early signs of distress, and guide colleagues towards the help they need. It’s another way we’re building a stronger, more caring culture on every project we undertake.

We’re proud to champion mental health awareness and to work alongside a charity that shares our values. Because at Princebuild, looking after our people is always the foundation of what we do.
