We are proud to be supporting the Community Payback Scheme in Peterborough initiative that is helping people on probation make a positive impact in the community while learning valuable skills along the way.

As part of the scheme, people on probation involved in the Criminal Justice system have been rolling up their sleeves to carry out meaningful projects across Peterborough. We have provided materials such as wood and paint, the group has been working hard to clean up and enhance public spaces in the city centre.

When not out in the city, the group continue to put their skills to good use through creative and practical projects. One ongoing initiative sees them building hedgehog houses, helping to support local wildlife and promote environmental awareness. Most recently, they completed a beautifully crafted wooden bench, which has now been donated to a local charity in Peterborough.

Their efforts have not gone unnoticed. The work is not only making a visible difference to the city but also offering the people on probation a real sense of purpose, teamwork, and pride in what they can achieve.

This ongoing partnership shows how, with the right support and encouragement, people on probation can turn challenges into opportunities and give something meaningful back to the city they live in.
