Last month, we were delighted to participate in Bourne Academy’s Careers Fair, joining other local businesses in showcasing career opportunities to inspire the next generation.
The event provided a fantastic opportunity to engage with students from Years 9, 10, 11, and sixth form during the school day. In addition, we were thrilled to meet students and parents from other year groups who attended the fair after school.
To make our stand interactive and engaging, we brought along a Virtual Reality (VR) headset loaded with a construction-themed game. The activity proved to be a huge success, drawing students to our stand and sparking conversations about the diverse and rewarding career paths available within the construction industry.
Events like these play a crucial role in introducing young people to the wide range of opportunities in construction. They also allow us to demonstrate the exciting and innovative aspects of the industry, highlighting how students can build a successful and fulfilling career with Princebuild.
