Last week, a few members of the Princebuild team, including Director Mark Asplin and his wife Sarah, Director Matthew Pudney, and Group Brand & Marketing Manager Carly Dadge, rolled up their sleeves to volunteer at the Peterborough Soup Kitchen.

This fantastic local charity provides vital support to those in need, offering meals and a welcoming environment for the vulnerable in our community. The team had the opportunity to learn about the kitchen’s operations and contribute their time to assist its dedicated volunteers.

Speaking about the experience, Director Mark Asplin said, Spending time at the local soup kitchen was a humbling and heartwarming experience. Seeing the smiles of gratitude and hearing the stories of resilience from people who couldn’t afford a hot meal through no fault of their own made me realise the profound difference we can make. The impact this charity has on people’s lives, and being able to contribute, was truly humbling.”

Volunteering opportunities like this are part of Princebuild’s commitment to giving back to the community and supporting initiatives that make a meaningful difference.
