Last week, members of the Princebuild team, including directors and staff, attended multiple networking events across the region, strengthening our connections with the local business community.
Cambridgeshire Chamber of Commerce—Fens Reservoir Event
Directors Matthew Pudney and Paul Baker attended the Cambridgeshire Chamber of Commerce Fens Reservoir event in Chatteris. Hosted by Anglian Water Services, the event provided valuable insights into the new reservoir project near Chatteris and how local businesses can get involved in the procurement process.
Peterborough Positive Networking Event at ARU
Carly Dadge, Group Brand and Marketing Manager, and Matthew Pudney attended the Peterborough Positive Networking Event at ARU Peterborough, where Professor Tom Williams spoke about the positive impact of universities on cities and the benefits of hiring apprentices and graduates. Additional speakers, including Eva Woods, former Youth MP, and Josh McGreevy, Climate Change Education Officer at Peterborough City Council, shared insightful perspectives on engaging and supporting young people in the workplace.
Smart Solutions Charity Networking at Peterborough Cathedral
To round off the week, the team also attended the Smart Solutions Charity Networking Event at the stunning Peterborough Cathedral. Hosted in association with Peterborough United Football Club & Free Kicks Foundation, the event brought together individuals and businesses to support a great cause. Thanks to a raffle and auction, an impressive £1,700 was raised on the night, helping to provide special football experiences for young people.
We love getting out to meet like-minded people, share ideas, and explore new ways to collaborate with local businesses. A huge thank you to the organisers for these fantastic events!
