We have been supporting the cause of Helping Our Ukrainian Friends for over a year, recognising the sustained need for assistance amid ongoing challenges. With an unwavering commitment to making a difference, we are proud to announce our participation in the Lincoln 10K, set to take place on Sunday, April 14th, 2024, with a dedicated team of over 100 staff members and local runners.
Tracking Our Journey on the Kev Lawrence Breakfast Show
Listeners can follow our journey every Friday from February 9th to April 12th on the Kev Lawrence Breakfast Show on PCR FM. Exclusive weekly interviews will provide insights into why the company is involved and what this cause means to the team.
A Critical Goal: Raising £20,000
The primary objective of this endeavour is to raise £20,000 in support of the cause championed by Helping Our Ukrainian Friends. The funds generated will play an important role in providing essential aid to those affected by the war in Ukraine.
More Than a Run: A Collective Effort for Essential Aid
This campaign transcends the typical charity run; it symbolises a collective effort to address urgent needs in Ukraine. Directors Mark Asplin and Dale Asplin, are not merely participating; they will personally deliver essential items such as food, clothes, tents, gas stoves, rechargeable lights, helmets, protective jackets and even some used 4×4 vehicles to a summer camp in Poland near Warsaw, catering to individuals who have become widowed or orphaned due to the ongoing war. This hands-on involvement underscores our dedication to making a meaningful impact on the lives of those who need these essential items most.
