Nominations are now open for the Princebuild Junior Community Champions!

Do you know a young person who has gone above and beyond for charity or good causes in the community? If the answer is yes then read on to find out how they could win a boost to their fundraising.
Over the next few weeks we are looking for nominations of young people under the age of 21 who are supporting charities and good causes in and around Peterborough.

Perhaps they’ve come up with some brilliant ideas to raise funds; maybe they volunteer regularly, or work for a charitable organisation or a cause behind the scenes; or perhaps they’ve had experience of how a charity can help – and have gone on to become an ambassador for them.

From the nominations we will select three champions who will receive a donation to their chosen charity or organisation. week 1 –  £1000, week 2 – £1500  and week 3 a whopping £2500!

The champions will feature in The Peterborough Telegraph, and PCR fm breakfast presenter Kev Lawrence will also be speaking to the recipients live on air.

Entries via email for Princebuild Junior Community Champions are open now and close at midnight on Thursday 18th August. After then we will start announcing our winners.
So if you are currently fundraising for a charity close to your heart or you know of a young person or group of people that are doing an amazing job for charity, send the details, along with an explanation behind your nomination to Kev@pcrfm.co.uk or rowan.booth@princebuild.co.uk and you could win them a big cash donation.

We launched this on Tuesday morning with Kev Lawrence live on air and you can listen again here
