Princebuild were delighted to be named the winners of the Private Sector Fleet of the Year and to be highly commended in the Ground Breaking Safety Initiative of the Year category

This is testament to the commitment of the fleet department to the highest standards in terms of operation, innovation and safety.

The awards were given out at a black tie ceremony held at the National Motorcycle Museum in conjunction with the biggest car and van showpiece in fleet, Fleet Live.

Over 600 guests attended the event and competition was very strong with Princebuild being up against the likes of Royal Mail and John Lewis in the Private Sector Fleet category.

The Commercial Fleet Awards recognise and celebrate the contributions of outstanding individuals, companies and manufacturers within the commercial fleet Industry.

Jon Brown, Executive Manager (Fleet & Facilities), collected the awards on the evening along with other members of  the fleet department and Director Jonathan Pudney who oversees the fleet and facilities.

The judges comments were “Princebuild shows tangible results. It is punching above its weight as a smaller fleet and a family-run business. A comprehensive and holistic entry with improvements and initiatives across all parts of the operation. Judges particularly liked the driver induction scheme and the introduction of mental health first aiders.”
