Princebuild Christmas event raises over £1,750 for local causes

Over 200 staff and guests gathered at the Peterborough Arena to enjoy Princebuild’s annual Christmas Dinner Dance and to help raise money for two worthy charities.

Of the money raised £1,000 will be donated to Macmillan Cambs and Beds with the remaining £750 being donated to the Amazon Childrens’ Ward at Peterborough Hospital. In addition, Princebuild have contributed a further £600 in toys and gifts for the children who will be spending the Christmas period in the Amazon Ward and on items that other children visiting the ward will benefit from over the coming months.

Guests were welcomed to the event by Peeby, Princebuild’s company mascot and enjoyed a drinks reception followed by a three course festive meal. After dinner entertainment was provided by Director Matthew Pudney and his team, which as well as including some fun games and Karaoke, also included two opportunities for guests to help raise money for charity.

Two games of stand up, sit down bingo were played with two cash prizes of £300 being awarded to the winners. A raffle was also held with some great prizes on offer including two tablet devices, a digital camera and a branded watch.

The Directors of Princebuild would like to thank all those who attended for supporting the evening with special thanks to Kamarin Computers, MCS Interiors, Smiths Motor Group, EE and Link Connect for kindly donating raffle prizes.
