The Peterborough Council for Voluntary Services (PCVS) awards evening celebrates the amazing achievements of the voluntary sector across the Peterborough area.

Princebuild were very pleased to support the event for the second year by sponsoring the Young Adult Volunteer award which was presented to a young person aged 19-25 for showing dedication and excellence in volunteering.

Both nominees in the category were very deserving of the award, the judges selected Phillip Cliffe of Little Miracles as the winner with Jack Draper from Youth Inspired a very close runner up.

Phillip began his volunteering for Little Miracles as part of his school work experience but since then has been volunteering on a regular basis at The Spinney in his own time. He now plays a vital role in fundraising for the youth club enabling them to host additional activities as well as being a valued team member of Little Miracles.

The evening was hosted by Esuene Samson and was held at the Ailia Future Business Centre. In addition to the awards there was a performance from the Russian Community Dance Group and poetry from youth poet Jade and Charley Genever.
