Princebuild’s company mascot ‘Peeby’ made a surprise guest appearance at The Priory School for the end of term assembly to present the headmaster and pupils with 20 new running vests for their running team and other sporting activities that the school takes part in.

The sponsorship of the new vests came about when Princebuild heard from a member of staff at the school that some of the school’s pupils had taken part in a cross country event and achieved some excellent results but had to wear vests that were starting to look very old and tired.

The new vests were presented to Mr Daran Bland, Executive Head Teacher and the pupils of the school by Director of Princebuild, Matthew Pudney and the company’s mascot Peeby.

Matthew Pudney commented ‘It was wonderful to see the children’s faces light up when Peeby entered the room and to hear the roar of laughter when Peeby greeted the Head Teacher with a warm and friendly hug. It’s obvious to see that the staff are very passionate about the school and their pupils and I’m so pleased that we could help motivate the children in their sporting activities by providing the new clothing for them.”

Peeby left the school hall to a round of applause after providing plenty of high fives and a gift of new pens to all of the children.

The Priory School is a specialist school for children with mild learning difficulties. For further information please see their website.
