Last Friday marked the grand finale of this year’s Community Charity Challenge series on the Kev Lawrence Breakfast Show on PCRFM.
The spotlight was on Helen, representing the Salvation Army. Helen secured a guaranteed £150 for the charity through the random selection process. This victory not only provides essential funding for the Salvation Army but also highlights the incredible work they do to support our community.
It’s been a fantastic five-week series, and we feel honoured to have supported the following charities:

- Week 2: Little Miracles: £450
- Week 3: COMPASS Charity: £300
- Week 4: Peterborough Cat Rescue: £300
- Week 5: Salvation Army: £300
In total, we have donated £1,500 to charities across our local area.
