Princebuild is celebrating significant success at the National Family Business of the Year Awards 2026, where the company was named East & East Anglia Family Business of the Year, alongside winning East & East Anglia People’s Choice Family Business of the Year.
Last month, Mark Asplin, Director, Tom Duerden, Director and Carly Dadge, Group Brand & Marketing Manager represented Princebuild in London at the awards ceremony, held by Family Business United, which brings together leading family businesses from across the UK to recognise excellence, innovation and long-term contribution to the sector.
The People’s Choice Award is particularly meaningful as it was voted for by employees, clients, suppliers, family members and supporters. Princebuild would like to extend its sincere thanks to everyone who took the time to vote, with their support playing a key role in achieving this recognition.
Princebuild also achieved further recognition on the night, being named runner up in the Property & Construction Family Business of the Year category, as well as runner up in the Community Support & Involvement Award, highlighting both industry excellence and ongoing commitment to social value.
Matthew Pudney, CEO for Princebuild said:
These awards are a tremendous achievement for our business and one that every single member of the Princebuild team should be proud of. Awards such as these are not won by individuals, they are won by teams. They reflect the dedication, professionalism, hard work and commitment shown across the business every day. As a family business, we remain committed to the values that have guided us for 55 years – Building, Sharing and Caring. These values are at the heart of everything we do, from the projects we deliver and the relationships we build, to the support we provide within our communities and for one another.
To be recognised on a national stage is a fantastic endorsement of who we are as a business and the culture we’ve built together.
These awards celebrate family businesses across the UK that demonstrate long-term thinking, resilience, and a strong commitment to people and communities.
